Besides being a realtor, I am also a math instructor at the College of Charleston. My gift for explaining things to people combined with my numerical skills seemed to make real estate a natural fit. I can explain the complicated questions that come up during real estate transactions and make sure we get the right numbers.

I am extremely precise and detail oriented and take tremendous pride in my work. My goal is to always do an absolutely incredible job for anyone I work for. I serve on Carolina One Real Estate's Advisory Council. The Advisory Council is made up of one agent from each of the 16 Charleston area Carolina One offices. We meet with the owners, Patty Scarafile, Grange Cuthbert, and Michael O'Shaugnessy, every other month to discuss the state of the market and our company. Me make recommendations to the owners for improving our company and what we can do to better serve our customers.

My math skills and market knowledge give me the ability to price homes correctly.  Overpriced homes do not sell.  As a seller, you want to make sure that your home is priced correctly so that it will sell quickly and for the maximum amount the market will allow.  As a buyer, you want to make sure that you do not overpay for a home.

Buying a home? I specialize in residential real estate because I love helping people find just the right home. I have worked with first time home buyers, families who are moving into larger homes as their needs change, couples and individuals who are downsizing. I also enjoy helping people who are relocating to the Charleston area. Being a "Lowcountry Native," I know the area and all of its benefits like the back of my hand. It is fun to share my knowledge of this area and the lifestyle here with my clients.

Selling a home? As a Native my 19 years of experience in Real Estate in The Lowcountry area gives me a broad base of knowledge. I have the experience to advise Sellers about the best pricing and marketing strategies for this very competitive market. I prefer to think of myself as a "trusted advisor" as opposed to a sales person. Homes sell homes and the market sets the price. I negotiate, market, problem solve and facilitate the transaction to get the best price for you in the shortest amount of time with as few problems as possible. Ask my past clients.
